ongratulations to Kay Kerriden, who is EFs Named Gift
Honoree. Kay represents the best of what being a commit-
ted AAUW member means. She gives time, energy and leader-
ship to not only her AAUW Branch but to the greater commu-
nity as well. She was on the Organizational Committee for the
Sister to Sister Project and continued on for three years as Treas-
urer. Kay has served as VP of Finance, VP membership, Presi-
dent Elect and President.
Kay can always be counted on to step in and give hands
on support to the many other Branch activities such as the Peta-
luma Branchs 50th Anniversary celebration, or helping to make
sure the AAUW float for the Butter and Egg Day Parade would
be completed in time.
She is never too busy to assist in whatever way she is needed.
Kay has always been an active community member and leader.
She is a member of Petalumas Health Care District Board,
where she has also served as President. She has been a member
of the Adult Literacy League of Sonoma County, PFLAG , the
Konocti Girl Scout Coun-
cil as well as the Sunburst
Projects of Rohnert Park
She was nominated for her
dedication to service, her
clear vision of community
involvement, and her abil-
ity to step into leadership
when required.
Kay received a change
from the usual silver-
plated tray: Sandy OHare
selected an engraved
pewter platter for her.
